Sudler & Hennessey London expands

Sudler & Hennessey London has added ten new members to its team, expanding its account handling and creative departments.

Group account director Phil Adams, account director Sally Blanco and senior account manager Hannah Bissex join the company's account handling division, bringing more than 40 years of experience managing healthcare business.

The ad agency has strengthened its creative department further with the appointment of head of copy Guy Buckland, head of interactive Julian Wakeley, art director Fadia Dekoune, copywriter Kylie Clayton, copywriter Linne Jenkin and creative traffic executive Clare Lewin.

The company has also appointed medical director Dr Vernon Bainton.

• Phil Adams has more than 20 years of experience in managing healthcare business across OTC and ethical sectors.

• Guy Buckland has over 10 years of experience writing and producing media and medical communications.

• Kylie Clayton has a degree in pathology, is currently studying towards a masters in public health, and has five years of experience in medical branding and marketing.

• Linne Jenkin has a degree in genetics and biochemistry and was employed by GlaxoSmithKline before spending three years as a journalist, publications planner and medical writer in healthcare communications and advertising.    

• Clare Lewin has a BA in business and marketing and experience across a diverse range of business areas including advertising, international marketing, public relations, economics and management accounting.

• Fadia Dekoune has over 13 years of creative design and production experience in healthcare, and has worked on both European and global accounts for Sanofi-Aventis, Procter & Gamble, Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim.

• Hannah Bissex has been working in healthcare communications for the past four years and joins S&H London after a successful stint at Seven Stones and S&H in Sydney, Australia.

• Sally Blanco has over 18 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing and advertising, as a medical representative at Pfizer, and with agencies Ogilvy and Viva! Communications.

• Julian Wakeley has over 25 years of experience in both agency and client-side digital strategy, management and development activities. He was previously group board member and head of digital at RAPP and head of interactive of Unilever, and has previously headed up major international online projects for Pfizer and Novartis.

• Dr Vernon Bainton gained five years clinical experience in acute hospital trusts before moving into the pharmaceutical sector, holding positions with Janssen-Cilag, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Ogilvy.
