Management Forum has teamed up with NSF-DBA, experts in medical device professional training, to bring certification programmes aimed at demonstrating the competence of development, regulatory and quality assurance personnel in the field of medical devices.

Management Forum has provided best in class training courses in Medical Device Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for over a quarter of a century and in recognition of our expertise in this field, NSF-DBA have approved several of our courses to enable our past, present and future students to gain a recognised certificate or diploma in Medical Device QARA (Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs).

NSF-DBA is best known for its industry leading Pharmaceutical Qualified Person (QP) training programme now into its 26th Year and in 2011 launched the sister qualification in the medical devices sector leading to a Diploma in Medical Device Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.

The diploma is an 8 module course enabling the student to undertake flexible training to learn the particular competencies necessary to act as a Qualified Person in the medical device industry. The qualifications offered by NSF-DBA specifically require you to demonstrate the application of your learning and therefore enabling students who have studied previous courses like those of Management Forum to submit their training portfolio and utilise the training undertaken as a means of demonstrating prior learning. This means that there are various fast-track options for Management Forum students wishing to achieve the Diploma in Medical Device Regulatory affairs, Quality Assurance or Safety Engineering.

If you are a student who has attended courses with Management Forum, this means you areable to receive credits towards the education requirements for several of the certificate and diploma modules and  that you may only be required to register and undertake an assignment, to demonstrate your application of  learning, in order to achieve the Diploma.

Future courses with Management Forum will display a NSF-DBA Diploma/Certificate Fast-track approval so that you know by attending the Management Forum courses it will count towards the NSF-DBA diploma and certificate programmes.

James Pink, Partner for Medical Devices at NSF-DBA comments “this is a very important partnership for NSF-DBA in that it enables medical device professionals who have studied respected and technically accurate training courses to gain recognition for the application of their learning. We have developed certification programmes in Medical Device Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Quality Assurance and Safety that Management Forum courses fulfil”.
