UK medical education firm Lucid has opened a second office in Hammersmith, London.

In addition to Lucid Towers, Beaconsfield, it now has a base in London which is currently home to 15 people with plans to expand to 30 in the coming three years.

Dennis O’Brien, managing director of Lucid says: “It’s a really exciting time for Lucid. We wanted to increase our office capacity and London seemed like an obvious second location. This base will mean that we will be more likely to attract new talent, from those keen to work in London.”

Founded in April 2007, Lucid specialises in developing and delivering medical education that uses the evidence from behavioural change studies and the latest thinking in CME to deliver programmes.

Recently the firm won a number of new business pitches. These wins it says have ensured its continued growth and have generated demand for new talent to join the team.

The company adds that in 2013 it broadened and further embedded its models to drive value for its clients, sustainable change in healthcare professional clinical practice and advance outcomes for patients.

O’Brien concludes: “The second office reflects the continuing growth of our business as more clients are convinced that our focus on medical education that really makes a difference in advancing patient outcomes means Lucid is the right partner for them.”
