The study of about 300 severely ill, hospitalized patients required a kitting solution that offered tracking, traceability and reliable logistics.
Working closely with researchers, Avantor quickly developed a solution that incorporated customized kits for the clinical trial. At the same time, they identified the inventory management and logistics support needed to ensure proper transport of the samples from study patients to selected labs. As a result, Avantor Clinical Services began shipping the kits in less than one week.
