Interlace boosts client services team

Interlace Global Group has appointed Alan Nicolle (pictured left) as client services director, one of a handful of new starters at the agency.

Alan Nicolle has a BSc in physiology and biochemistry and has previously held senior marketing positions within global and European pharmaceutical companies.

He will be responsible for teams running new global medical education accounts from the Tunbridge Wells office of Interlace’s Wells Healthcare Communications Tunbridge operation.

The group has also appointed Glenn Mursell as associate director and Sarah Vickery as assistant account manager to its client services team.

Glenn Mursell has a BSc Hons in microbiology from the University of Sheffield and has pursued an 18-year career in pharmaceutical communications.

Sarah Vickery has a BSc Joint Hons in Physiology and Psychology from Cardiff University.

The group has also strengthened its editorial team with the appointments of editorial team leader Laurence De-Netto and medical writer Andrew Jobson.

Laurence De-Netto has a BSc Hons in Human and Applied Biology from the University of Aston and a Wellcome Prize PhD in Cancer Biochemistry.

Laurence pursued a six-year postdoctoral career, which included a Wellcome Prize Fellowship, before embarking on an 11-year career in medical communications with previous positions including principal writer, medical writing manager and scientific director.

Andrew Jobson has a strong research background in anticancer drug discovery and development, having previously worked in the pharmaceutical research laboratories of GlaxoSmithKline and investigated the molecular pharmacology of novel anticancer topoisomerase inhibitors in collaboration with Xenova.
