Linda Dyson, global healthcare practice leader, Cohn & Wolfe

Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Linda Dyson as executive vice president and global healthcare practice leader. She will report to Donna Imperato, chief executive of Cohn & Wolfe.

Linda joins Cohn & Wolfe from Roche where for the last three years she was a public affairs and advocacy relations executive and company spokesperson. She directed strategy, marketing, and litigation communications across three business units, advised US and global senior management, and served on cross-functional teams devoted to communications strategies, priorities and issues.

“Linda will bring great leadership and expertise to our clients and agency. She has a clear understanding of the challenges, needs and issues facing clients in today’s complex and rapidly changing healthcare environment,” said Donna Imperato.

Linda has two decades of global healthcare communications experience and brings tremendous expertise developing and executing the full spectrum of communications programmes on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, healthcare systems, providers, government agencies and non-profit organisations. She has led more than 20 pharma/biotech product launches and supplemental indications globally, and is a seasoned issues and crisis management counselor.

Prior to joining Roche, Linda co-led the flagship New York healthcare practice for Ketchum, and held other senior leadership positions at healthcare communications firms, including Chandler Chicco, Edelman, and Vox Medica where she established pharmaceutical and biologics-based practices.
