PAN makes board promotions

PAN Advertising has promoted Ben Davies (pictured right) to chief executive as part of a trio of promotions within its board of directors.

These also see Claire Dobbs move to managing director and Jon Linscott become client services director.

In her new role Claire will assume responsibility for day-to-day operation of the agency while retaining her key client responsibilities.

Claire joined PAN in 2004 and was promoted to the board as client services director in 2006 before being made deputy managing director.

She brings a wide range of experience to her new role having previously held senior positions at both Grey Healthcare and IMS, together with client side experience as marketing manager for SmithKline Beecham in the Middle East.

Meanwhile. Jon assumes with responsibility for leading the account handling team within the agency in his new role.

He joined PAN in 2003 and was promoted onto the Board in 2009. Jon is responsible for a number of key UK and International accounts at PAN and his previous experience includes working at Torre Lazur McCann and Leavold Pollard Bardsley.

Chief executive Ben Davies will work closely with both Jon and Claire in continuing to provide strategic input across key clients, while focusing on broader initiatives to enhance the agency’s offering, in particular in the digital and international areas.

In addition, as joint head of the health division within Creston plc, he will be working to further develop the group offering of best-in class companies who provide services across PR, medical education, digital, market research and consumer health.

Ben has 24 years experience within the industry including roles in both marketing and sales management and has been a board director of PAN since 1995.
